Beta.

As many eager Counter Strike fans still await the release of the beta, other competition seems to be stealing the lime-light. With the recent releases of headlining games such as Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 the FPS market seems to be sewn up pretty tight. However the delay to CS:GO beta may have some positive implications as the hype around the major competition may have settled down leaving more space for Global Offensive to squeeze through.

The main reason for the delays lies with the pro gamers and the amount of improvements and suggestions they made. Valve seems very enthusiastic to get this game right and will delay the beta release until they feel it’s ready. Hopefully we will see the beta go live in the next few weeks.
